Lucky`s 13 Pub in Mendota Heights

Food was great! They have to add more umbrellas on the patio! They only have three which makes it misarable when the suns beating down on you. Really how much can it cost to make your customers 😊

This is my favorite restaurant. For real. The service is always fantastic and friendly. The food is great and the ambiance is all you could ask for. I celebrated my birthday there with friends and they went out of their way to make my day special.

Expensive for such awful service. I do not mind paying good money for good food but I have been to dive bars with better food. Poor management, overpriced, and rude/lazy staff. There are several places near here that are more worthwhile. I've been here several times that never impressed me but once I went with several Indian friends of mine and the service was appalling even though there were very few people there. I'm not trying to draw a direct conclusion on the matter but it was very disappointing. I hope it wasn't what it looked like. I even saw them change the music after somebody next to us paid money to play something on their jukebox. Entitled and rude. I haven't been back in for a couple of years and I don't intend to go back. I'd say go next door to Axels but they've gone downhill too. It's too bad. I used to frequent both.

Food is great the location is good the ambience is casual meets sports bar . It has a huge bar in the middle and an open kitchen. Fun relaxed atmosphere.

Atmosphere is very nice. Had plenty of seating options, booth, table, or bar.Food options are great. Situated in a neat section of town (rustic, quiet, off the beaten path), at least for someone not from the area. Building is perfect for this pub.Prices are a little higher, but on par with other restaurants like this.Took waitress about 5 minutes to make it to my table, so not too bad.Plenty of parking.

At the end of a 14 mile bike ride to St Paul and back, there's no better "recovery" than a quick stop at Lucky's 13 patio!

Stopped by for a burger and fries with my wife and daughter at about 8:35 pm. Place was slow at this hour as expected. Sat down and waited 10 minutes. Got a bowl of popcorn plopped down on the table and the waitress ditched us After several minutes and thirsty from the popcorn we decided to leave. Disappointed in the unwelcome reception we received. Went to Lone Oak Grill instead. They even had live music.

Heather....the manager there found out it was our 11th Wedding Anniversary....and to our surprise...she brought us a piece of chocolate cake the size of a basketball! The music was amazing....my Makers Mark Old Fashion was perfectly made (with one perfectly round cube....) and our server was awesome! If your looking for a laid back....high class...."blast from the past" place to hang out....The Mud Room is the place.....

Good food, lots of variety, free popcorn. Daily specials are a good deal. Lots of activities like bingo on various nights. Plenty of TV sets to watch your favorite team.

Slow service. Incorrect order. Overcooked burger. Over seasoned fries. Asked for a side of mayo three times before I got it. They may be open, but they aren't back up to speed.

My first chicken and waffles!! And I was not disappointed. And they have a great selection of infused vodkas for their Bloody Mary's! Always enjoy each Lucky's 13 location.

Food is excellent but the costs are a little high. Once you get past the pricing, you will enjoy your trip.

Although menu has been trimmed back like many other restaurants. Food was still good, service was good and protocols in place for keeping everyone safe during Covid-19. Will return here for eating out.

They are awesome. Loved the pub fish fry and the cheese curd burger was so good. The Mendota location is the coziest spot and very nice staff.

Great place. It has a pretty cool atmosphere for lunch. They had popcorn as an appetizer which is unique. The menu is pretty fattening and comforting and the staff very friendly.

Not good my husband we to your restaurant with his family and ordered a juicy lulu and had hair in the burger

We drive across town to go here to watch the Montana/Montana State football game every year. L13 throws a good party and is a comfortable and affordable place to hang out for a few hours, drink a bit and eat while watching the game. Staff is friendly and even gets engaged in the fun rivalry! Will be back next year.

Good food and friendly staff. Have gone a few times for lunch and I have had okay food and great food. All depends on what you order. Popcorn is a great touch.

Food is very good, I try something different every time I eat there and they don't disappoint. They make a good margarita also.

The service was exceptional! The food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend trying one of their specialty burgers and dont skip their enormous desserts!

Service and food was good, didn't like the 3.9%mandated fee whatever that means. I won't be going back for that reason. That is putting an extra tax for no reason. I don't patronize businesses that stick that on the bill at the end. Tacky.

First visit to Lucky 13 and I think the number in the name is more representative than anything “Lucky.” While the less than enthusiastic hostess took us to a booth we noticed the lack of “social distancing” happening or being enforced. I don’t necessarily have an opinion on this, but just sharing this experience. The server was nice, but moved at a VERY slow pace the entire time. The food was typical bar food and nothing above average.

Fish tacos are good. Wings are great, and the homemade Bleu cheese is a must have. Really friendly staff made for a wonderful experience. Now, to find reasons to drive 1 1/2 hours for dinner again...

Enjoyed a black and blue burger washed down with a Surly Furious. Kristal, our waitress, was very attentive. After our lunch, Heather, (below), showed us the Mudd room, a charming Speakeasy. Way cool. Lots of cool beverages. Check out that Absinthe glass. You got to experience it.

Great outdoor patio seating. Good food and friendly service. Sunday breakfast with Bloody Mary looked yummy!

This place never fails to satisfy. Great portions of great food from great staff. Linda Young the owner is wonderful person to work for.

Ordered pick up on a Saturday around 7 PM. I understand that this is a busy time but the hostess said the food would be ready in 15 minutes. I got there 20 minutes later and they hadn't even started cooking my food. I waited another half hour. Just give your customers a more accurate pick up time. Other than that, my food was delicious. I got a gluten free burger and cottage cheese. They have a GF menu but some items on the menu are cross contaminated. Speak with the server or manager for more details.

last night was the first time in this magnificent restaurant. But It is obviously not the last time. We had a good time with the courteous service, with the fine cuisine and booze and with the modest charge. We will surely return there soon.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed this place. It was the first time for both of us. We had the taco salad and greek salad, both were absolutely massive! We both liked our food the only thing was that the chicken gyro meat tasted and had the texture of eggs to me for some reason. Besides that, I really enjoyed the food. It was a gorgeous day and the patio was lovely. The inside dining room was much nicer than I expected, I thought it would be more like a dive bar. Also a bit random, I thought the bathroom was pretty.

Stopped in for an early dinner, hostess was visibly irritated when we asked to be seated away from the bar, she literally rolled her eyes and threw a napkin wrapped place setting across us into a basket. Once seated we never were approached. No beverage no acknowledgements from anyone. We sat ignored for 15 minutes, staff breezing by. We left and took our business elsewhere. Probably did us a favor, if the food is as bad as the service. Yucky vibe.

Wonderful staff, great selection of pub style food, and good happy hour deals. This is a great place to go with a group and spend quality time. The waiters were very pleasant and handled the busy crowd with ease. The clean bathrooms were a pleasant surprise. Only issue I had was the parking but still give it 5 stars

We met with friends at this spot for a meeting. we heard about this spot from a lot of people. Well, it was a winning. The staff welcomed us with a smile and we felt fantastic. The meal was tasty. We had a great time and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Keep it up.

This place gives wonderful service as well as delightful menu. One of the best restaurant in town. The meals served quick and the rates are fair. I recommend this place.

Happy to take our money but won't help/let us find something of ours worth hundreds! The food was good, the service was good but when my son accidentally left his retainer (a few hundred dollars) they threw it away and would not do anything to help us find it. My wife and I offered to look through the garbage ourselves and the manager would not let us. I work in our school district and we have had many students accidentally throw their retainers away and I am proud to say that we have found every one. The manager was straight up rude, and so, we will not be going back and I hope you will not as well.

Lucky’s 13 Pub is one of the last great sports bars around! My wife and I met here for an early dinner. We have been to Lucky’s tons of times and they don’t disappoint. If this is your first time make sure to try the popcorn and the tater tots! Life changing!! We also like the nachos but realize they come on a sheet pan. Come hungry!

The apps were delicious & I really enjoyed the variety of the cocktail menu. This is a nice bar & restaurant that may looks high end and fancy, but feels like the neighborhood place to be. It’s the best of both worlds. We will definitely be back soon!

I simply enjoyed their food. I always get great service here. The place is always clean and the workers are always very kind. I highly recommend this place.
